[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series]

John, the Baptist, said “ I am the voice of one crying out in the wilderness, ‘Make straight they way of the Lord’, as the prophet Isaiah said.” John 1:23

Making a pathway home to God,
and clearing the way,
preparing us to meet the Lord,
teaching of need to pray

forgiveness, of our many sins,
acknowledgement of guilt,
desire the change of life God brings,
support and comfort felt.

And willingness to leave, forsake
the ways that displease God,
wanting his help the turn to make
and follow Christ, the Lord.
Tune: CM

Isn't it wonderful that as a prodigal son we always have a loving Father to come home to, but then as well as caution against jealousy.

Still, better to stay home! Love your father and your mother, your sisters and brothers..

Keep well Rhiannon! &&

Thank you, Nolan. Yes! And for prodigals not to delay returning once they realise! Rhiannon
