AIDE MEMOIRE

The timing, it was not quite right,
and perhaps will never be.

There is now only 'me' and 'you',
might there have been a 'we'?

So take a moment, sit a while,
and think those thoughts that made you smile.

Of my name you may not be aware,
but when we danced,
we danced on air.
