Killing your beloved

I know that I love my dog. He's only one, and I don't think that
he'll be dying any time soon. But, when your beloved pet is very sick,
is it kinder to be cruel? As you love your pet dearly, pain is
something you'd rather they did not experience. But letting your
'Snuggums' slip through your fingers is something you would also,
rather not do. But, pain isn't gain for an old pet, and he or she, will
rest peacefully, instead of living in agony. But, humans can be in
agony, especially the old people. Did you know that out of all the
money the NHS spend on your health, a quarter of it is spent on the
last year of your life? That is what happens to the majority of us. I'd
rather that money went to keeping sick, young children in Africa alive,
than sick, old, well off people in Britain. I think it would be
cheaper, and would save suffering, for the very pained people to die.
It sounds cruel, but they could rest peacefully instead of live the
hell they have to call a life. It isn't that fact that outrages me the
most. It's the fact that people aren't outraged.
