The Canoe

By Richard L. Provencher

Sat, 09 Jul 2011
  • 879 reads

is a purveyor of memories, salient in its
demeanor, a traveling smorgasbord
of memory---like

a child gone away into adventure
sickness and joy intermingled
with one other

higher learning, another joining
a dance of tragedy

prayers, health issues and yet
we overcome, remaining

intact. A family.
