Preaching of Chanakya
P K Routray
Chanakya is acclaimed as the India’s greatest diplomat,
His principles and concepts are always taken as gospels in our life’s combat.
Here are a few of his principles for my readers dear,
Nothing has been added or subtracted by this low- wit author.
“As a thorn can only be removed by another thorn,
So use one enemy against another if you want battle won.”
"Learn lessons from the mistakes of others,
you can't live long enough to experience them yourself like your brothers!!"
"A person should not be too simple to be taken as simpleton,
Straight trees are first to be cut upon."
"Even if a snake is not poisonous,
It should pretend to be venomous.”

No friendship sans self-interest, a bitter truth in human relationship."
" Before you start a work, ask yourself three questions,
- Why am I doing it, What the results it brings,
Will I be successful? Think deeply,
With satisfactory answers only to these questions, go ahead steadfastly."
"As soon as the fear approaches near,
attack and destroy it, do not delay my dear."
"The world's biggest power ever known,
is the youth
and beauty of a woman."
"Once you start working on something,
Don't be afraid of failure and don't abandon but continue it with confidence unflinching.”
“People who work sincerely,
are the happiest both physically and mentally."
"The fragrance of flowers spreads only in the direction of the wind.
But the goodness of a person spreads in all directions we find."
"God is not present in idols as worshipped in temple.
Your soul is your God.
The body is your temple a fact very simple."
"A man is great by his deeds,
not by his birth and creeds."
"Never make friends with people who are
above or below you in status and position.
Such friendships
will make you unhappy and increase your tension."
"For first five years treat your kids like a darling,
For the next ten years, control them for correct upbringing.
By the time they turn sixteen,
treat them like a friends as grown up
children are best friends as seen."
"Books are as useful to a stupid person,
as a mirror is useful to a blind in my opinion."

the king is worshipped in his country, the educate respected everywhere.”
