A Senior Day

Up and down the aisles
feet scuffle at a runaway pace
during a time of fund distribution

the old age cheque is in

and a senior dibbles and dabbles
over items not friendly
these past few days

but money no longer in short supply
as the carrier cart roars by,
exciting times at supper tonight.
