The strangeness of the universe made manifest
here
I look at these pinned stars on my childhood bedroom
pinned decades ago
They are still here. The constellations still there
The UFO one is still in the corner
On the eve of my departure soon to be
I visit my dad
To alay
his fears
It's the day I see this constellation still glowing
Ok a little dimmer
But they are there
I was the UFO
I realise that now
The mysterious, the unidentified abides
In me
No need to look for ghosts
I am the ghost
In a ghost world
That feels so real
It is
Bring me back to my father
My mother
My cat
My lover

I like this. Whimsical yet concrete. Aha doubling again, metamorphising into its oppoisite.
