Some good will come of this

Flowers will grow on the settled dust

That rode the brummal wind

As we were bitten raw

Cast in ice, we vernalised

We primed promiscuous seeds of change

 

When the tide has turned

We'll not lift the flotsam

Sift the jetsam

But leave it to the squandered foam

No good will come of this

If we steer against our own forces of being

 

Fate clears a new path

Throws a lifeline in the aftermath

Unless we bow our heads

Surrender the all in all

Except that certain shade of blue

Which flouts the radius of hope

 

We all finish on a note

The utmost in our unique song

But never wholly lost in time

Ending what we started 

With nothing but a lick

A wafer in the universal chime

I enjoyed your poem, had to read it a couple of times. It's my understanding that we shouldn't mess with fate, what will be, will be. Hope I got the meaning right. 

Liked the third stanza:

fate clears a path

Throws a lifeline in the aftermath
