You made your films:
outside the norms.
Did they still exist,
when no-one saw them?
Give us this day
“Our Honest Bread”:
you must make
realist authenticity.
But no, you give us
this “Brief Encounters”:
no suburban station,
just a utilitarian platform
in a one-commissar town.
Like an auteur your output
is intermittent,
through your own
- and none other’s - fault.
Among Grey Stones
there are apparatchik
“interpolations”:
you credit Ivan Sidarov.
Restructuring!
Openness!
We love our words,
our slogans,
our posters
with the heroic
perspective.
You make “The Tuner”:
more personal deceptions,
a metaphor for the state
and its citizen victims.
You made your films:
outside the norms.
Now, they do exist,
for we have seen them.

I know it might end up
I know it might end up looking clumsy(er) but unless you click on 'new' you don't see the teaser, which in this poem is something worth reading. Is there any chance you could put it as a footnote in the body of the text?
