Blank Minded Billy

 It was just before noon ,
when old Mrs Muldoon,
saw Billy coming up to the door .

He walked kind of silly,
have pity on Billy ,
he forgot what he had come there for .

It happens to us all ,
old Muldoon did recall,
standing right there outside the front door.

As a matter of fact ,
her memory was slack ,
for she didn't live there anymore .

But God love him and her,
they were a right old pair ,
happily married for 3 score years .

It just goes to show you,
love is like morning dew ,
ever brighter as the mist all clear
