A Fork in the Road

Maybe it was meant to be a joke
and therefore met with derision 
but some contend that the choice
is intended to signify indecision.

'If you come to a fork in the  road, 
take it' is a classic humorous quip
attributed to the baseball catcher
Yogi Brera, who denied authorship.

It seems that his house was located
at the base  of a looped driveway
so that his door could be reached
either by the left or the right way.
