Life is not optional.
Life is not quick.
Life can last lifetimes
Or go out on a wick.
Lust does not matter
Nor does your gold.
Dont make life a gamble
You'll soon have to fold.

Stop drinking happyness
And stop cheating, too.
Don't do it for everyone.
Do it for you.

Ah Fresh meat. This is a cracking site, hope you enjoy. Poetry isn't really my thing, so I'm not much qualified to do the deep and meaningfuls, but I know what I like and this has a sound, feel good quality to it. Great first entry, I particularly like the last two lines. I can imagine myself chanting this like a mantra in the car on a tishy day. Look forward to reading more from you.
