Curled
Into a curved blade of sadness
Scalding water spins on her exposed hip
Knees pull to ribcage
Chin dipping to collar bone
Heart cries shake into milk-colored porcelain
Cool against the hiss of a steaming head
Trapped
Under the press
of their burning words
When tangled moonlight replaces frosted canisters
She curls
Under a bone duvet sky
Tries going blank
Tries going still
Tries going silent

Welcome to AbcTales
Plenty of descriptions in poem,
and a lot of thought to it.
And the images to.
Congrats on the cherry!
