So I am with you,
Investigating the way America has changed,
Trade was swift in the old days,
Then we were soon forgotten like the buffaloes,
In a matter of a few hundred years,
Native people have had to adapt,
Going into town or we had the choice - the reservations!
But those areas reserved for us were still government land,
Up to now, there are still land disputes going on, the chiefs want to return to their native soil,
Like children we exchanged vast areas of land for mirrors, blankets, tools and horses,
Line up a hundred Native Americans today, most have mixed in with the whites, but the Pow Wow is still in their blood!
