Humanity as Verb by J.B. Pravda
How striking in their modern becoming, from a distinct nascence, now
clarion calls to low and high that to be is but aside, whence, by dint
of passion's fire, unto the Heavens can all aspire.
And came They to this cosmic spire unheralded, waylaid or shapeless in
their evanescence.
Yet bespoke He, Grant, in the 19th century from beginning: "I think
that&;#8230;I am more verb than noun" and entered Time's eternal
realm; yet became, in the subsequent count, He, Fuller, from whose
cranial dome issued godlike the geodesy's pathway toward tomorrow: "I
think that I am more verb than noun".
Now, come They, You, I, in growing numbers, toward ultimate becoming,
crying, blissfully, "We are verb, we are growing toward Universe."
