Hoy, HOOO, Silver!! By J.B. Pravda
The fabled Lone Ranger rode into town, Tonto having ridden ahead to
prepare the usual reception; on arrival, he was, not without the
seemingly usual panoply of town officialdom being present, placed under
arrest for the jumping of a silver miner's stake, ostensibly in pursuit
of his traditional habit of fashioning expensive bullets to impress his
new hosts, and for the murder of his former troop of Rangers for, so he
claimed, having teased him about his troubling practice of
unnecessarily wearing the silly costume ball-style mask and for acting
generally very effeminately while in the troop's bunkhouse; the most
disappointing charge, however, had been one of fraternizing with the
horse species in such a way as to violate 25 existing and future
territorial statutes.
