PASSION AND PURPOSE

They ask me what's my passion, what really stirs my soul,

I wasn't sure the answer I should give,

I took the time to ask myself what truly is my goal,

What is the kind of life I want to live.

Within my self reflection I realised it is true,

There's one thing that really holds my heart,

I want to reach the hurting, those like me and you,

Those who feel their life's been torn apart.

I've lived through many things I didn't think I would survive,

So many secrets, life was just a lie,

Help me to show you I'm now happy I'm alive,

You may not see the point but let me try.

I've done so many courses and learned so many skills,

I always used to question why I do,

It may not make much sense but I know one day it will,

For I am going to share these skills with you.

I had to learn my lessons so that I could maybe teach,

Others that there is another way,

In that education maybe I could reach,

Those who need to hear "you'll be okay"

So yes, i've found my passion, it was there all along,

I  knew that when I found it I would know,

My heart is for the hurting who aren't always strong,

To tell them "YES" when all they've heard is "NO"
