I'm Sorry...

It's a word I'd wish I'm able to say,
Without repeating and over again...
Regret and a law of contrition betray;
Precious serves no uphold the sane...
Irrevocable the past commenced,
Tears were dried but scars remains...
Turned about the sorry loss all pretense;
One emotion can be felt, as it explains.
I want to say it but stitches locked it.
Roped in agony or torment, unable to free...
Immune to pain after countless times of a fit;
Trapped in a fire that burns a third degree.
Words pierced the heart a million a mile;
Coughing it up as though it’s easy...
Lies flushing under all that convincing smile,
Just to put a façade that consumes reality.
It pains me to say it, I'd rather die...
My heart can only hold so much deceit,
Although it is too late to whimper or cry...
It is wonderful as I lay in defeat...
Finally, I can say it without pain...
I'm sorry...
