Desire

The bones trembled in desire
Hearts were never torn by this fire
Burning our skin with every touch
Not wanting, but wanting it all
As our lips met turning into ashes
Behind closed doors
We let this feeling get a hold on us
The eyes had never spoken about love
Leaving me be the one who risked it all
In this unfair game we played
I chose to lose anyway
For your kiss is my perdition
And your skin is my prison.

sensuous passionate gentle
sensuous passionate gentle ... does sound heavenly, but they tell me it's supposed to be more like a bulldog eating porridge- not me that says so I heard it from my firemen friends. Just a typo "my skin is my prison?"
Nice poem, Tom
