America the brave

So much pain and so much grief
I sit there and watch in disbelief
The world for so many ended this day
So many precious lives taken away
The buildings devastated like so many lives
Fathers , mothers , husbands and wives

The world as we know it will never be the same
Lives ended so quickly like an extinguished flame
From one that was so bright so true and so real
The pain of the losses we all will feel
All i can hear are the screams and the shouts
I sit there feeling like my hearts been ripped out

The towers that were are not no more
Now rubble and dust all over the floor
And memories of the lost clear to be seen
The pictures still broadcast of the nightmare scene
We feel the pain like it's our own
Like a flower cut down before it's grown

The hope may be dented
But the spirits still strong
It's time to unite and all get along
To show solidarity at this time
To newer heights we must climb

A message to America the world must send
In times of need theres always a friend
To reach out for help or just for a talk
This long road back to normality we all shall walk
Hand in hand we shall strive
To keep the flame burning and the dream alive

America the brave , America the free
This will never change you always will be
