The darts of rage are flung with force and fail
To find the target which they seek to nail
The seed of words we sow in haste may not
Fulfil its aim, and be a wasted shot
A wise discerning person will employ
The tried and tested conversation ploy
The faithful horse that never fails to find
The heart and soul of tiffs of any kind
A proverb sheds some light that clears the mist,
Injects the magic glue that heals the rift
Between contending parties locked in feud
Abates the heat and gets the flap diffused
Beware, however, when you use this tool
For if untamed it could make you a fool
