Just a poem

Poetry is just 'recollection in tranquillity'
So go sit beneath a tree and think.
I'll give you an ideal notebook
And visionary angels on a heavenly shelf,
I'll give you my own transcendent ink
And a mind emptied of your brain.
Go take the hand of insight
And travel with your thought a way,
Until there is nothing but you
The branch and the spider hanging.
Have ten thousand brothers
Stitched in the cloth of your knowledge,
Unravel just one sonnet
And a bird shall swoop and sit.
Meditate on your future ghost
Obliterate your identity,
Become responsible for everything
Except your chain of thought.
Such a thing it'll be that you touch the earth
That the earth will touch you back,
You'll kiss every imaginary stranger
And ride roundabouts of courage.
Eye everything with equality
Because everything can judge you back,
Actively search out nothing
And find your understanding in the grass.
Poetry is just 'recollection in tranquillity'
So go sit beneath a tree and think.
Don't waste, don't question,
Just you see everything,
For sooner or later it'll go,
Be gone,
And true I'll cry
But you?
Heaven?
Be calm, be kind.
