RUBBISH HERO

Those shiny black bin liners
I'll make them obsolete
Now I'm using my recycling box
More and more each week

The greasy black bin liners
I'll be glad to see the back
Can't wait for my recycling box
To give those bags the sack

I now parcel up old paper
Jump on all old cans
Even empty plastic bottles, now
Are avid fans&;#8230;

Of my neat little recycling box
To glass it may say 'No'
But one look at it, is just enough
To the Bottle Bank I'll go

All these years, on slippery sacks
I've depended on, too long
They never made me feel a hero
So I know, they must be wrong

My neat little recycling box
Outside of my front door
Who'd have of thought, I could help
Save the world before
