i guess i should have found the time
to kiss those tears, kiss them all goodbye
end my life, slit my throat
under my bed you'll find the note

glistening flames, dancing in your eyes
can't listen to myself, listen to these lies
knowing what i've wanted all this time is hard to take
but love pays the highest prices, happiness at stake
