Pull my hair
North Wind,
you are throwing a tantrum.

Is something happening in the Arctic?
Did the air there shatter
like somebody's foot through a skylight?

Are sledges of forested hillside
tobogganing into seas whose waves
leap up like hands clapping in the air?

Are the waters and the cliffs with Roman noses
staging a snowball duel, to turn even ice giants green,
while you must play piggy in the middle all over again?

Are you an outcast? refugee?
runaway? prodigy? come inside.
I have little in the way of food, but I can stint to a coffee, and some
biscuits.
