United Nations and Common Man: Focus on vision 2020.
“I offer you peace. I offer you love. I offer you friendship. I see your beauty. I hear your need. I feel your feelings. My wisdom flows from the Highest Source. I salute that Source in you. Let us work together for unity and love.” ~ Mahatma Gandhi
I was often put to judgment when I see many organizations in the world striving for betterment of life: What are these umpteen organizations doing to eradicate poverty, sustain peace, enrich culture, and bring people together? Why is that we haven’t reached 100 per cent eradication of all plight despite dynamic functioning of all organizations? Do all these organizations have no success taking inventiveness? Do they lack resources? Do they lack initiatives? Do they lack man power? Or the adverse affect and calamities in the world are more and increasing? All organizations do have akin mandates and goals for problems in the society. I feel there is only one thing that matters the most: It is moving forward towards the goals “together.” United Nations is the only one that could bring all these organizations together and make people realise dreams of being one.
So from my last phrases, you might have concluded that I reckon all people to come together through United Nations in understanding the goals for the world better. Having said this, I expect all people and all Non Government and Non-Profit organizations to join hands together to make equal directives and harness programs to make lives better. Peace and Poverty are critical elements that we all should fight with. While the former could be constructed ultimately, the latter is must to be reduced in order to bring momentum to build peace.
I have no qualms that we are not reaching the goals for vision 2020 in near future. We are bound to reach it provided we maintain equality, compliance, asceticism and zeal to come across all barriers, come against all atrocities.
Let peace prevail and that said, together we can.
