Wishing

Once I wished upon a star
And wondered if I'd travel far.

And once I wished upon a cat
But not much ever came of that.

I also wished upon a horse
But nothing happened there of course

So then I wished upon a cow
And wished I hadn't done that now.

I walked along and saw my home
And wished I'd never be alone.

But with the stars, horses and cats
I know I'll never come to that.
