A Tribute To Hope

It's just a blip, most likely,
or it might be something
that could linger,
as when I lost the plot.
Not your fault - or mine.
I'm like it - up and down,
more down than up sometimes;
somewhere in the middle
would be good. Hang on Hope,
and night might pass without ado.
For your kindness in great measure
that ever matters much,
my broken wings, you've bound
and mended, watched me flap,
and clapped -
declared me happy ended.
For your faith
and valued friendship,
there and here, as ever,
my dearest Hope,
thank you.

Hello Bee,
Hello Bee,
you know...that 1970s song by James Taylor:- You've got a friend, came to mind as I read this poem.
Hope is somebody or something we all need in times of of great need, a healing touch giving hope to our existance.
I liked the sentiments behind this poem.
Jenny.

Amen.
I went to a sermon once and of the whole thing the one line just rang out loud for me:
The Most Helpful is Hopeful... I've clung to that on many an occassion... glad there are others out there too who will write about needing hope. Thanks for sharing. Keep well $
