Weather Changes too

What now?
Should we remain here - silent without fuss
Waiting, not knowing until the path suddenly takes us
To a place full of roads and destination
But where now? there should be no hesitation
Adrift, amidst the flooding we almost drown
Rise above! never allow it to pull us down
For this arrival is maybe our only hope
Left here searching, feeling for that rope
And climbing out of this confusing maze
Without looking back - seeing through the haze
The darkened days and mist begin to clear
Taking with it our worries and lingering fear
Like weather, the depression moves on past
Bright, clear days on the horizon at last
Where then?
Should we predict the change - quietly but sure
Through highs and lows or feet firmly on the floor
Confidently storming ahead, leading the march
Yet tempting ourselves under that rainbow arch
Then reality pierces through the sunny sky
Taking hold and blocking thoughts that may fly
Never can we forecast such changing hues
With heavy grey clouds that darken our views
Having to shelter from the driving rain
Imagining which way heralds least pain
Harshly blows the wind, driving in our face
See the weather now, a change has visited this place
