On devouring the sun and moon

We’ve been starved of pureness and passion
So first we feast on the stars and the moon
Still hungry for our lives, we claw at the veil
We rush through, you and I
Grasping for comets and anything passing by
Devoid of the spark in our eyes, we shriek towards the light
We're ravenous so
We tear at the sun, one chunk at a time
Satisfied, we hear the silence
We see the nothingness
“Just us now,” you say, with a smile
