Jane & Greybeard

Ponytail and binoculars,

    searching everday,

the heart of the jungle

   where chimpanzees hid.

Many streams were crossed,

    steep paths were taken,

until a close encounter

    with Greybeard.

Greybeard, was the one

    who didn't run away.

Jane was the human

                                 enlightened.
