Angry Apple

Beaten up by an Angry Apple

I was sitting in a tree-top
when an apple caught my eye
I was just about to pick it
when someone called out "Hi".

It was a talking apple
I screamed and said "Oh no".
I began to climb down from the tree
when a voice called "Please dont go"

The apple started laughing
It leapt into the sky
It bounced around from branch to branch
- then hit me in my eye.

The apple seemed quite angry
"You cant eat me" it said.
It pushed me from my sturdy branch
- I fell and bumped my head.

The apple jumped down on me
and punched me on the nose.
It picked me up and swung me round
then stamped upon my toes.

"Have mercy, please have mercy"
my croaking voice did cry,
but the apple took no notice
and threw me in the sky.

Oh apples can be very strong
I found that out today.
So if you make one angry
Make sure you run away.
