25 Million Vaccines given,

Still 6,000 new cases today,

People still dying, 65 today!

Still in lockdown,

11 weeks up to now,

Though things are getting better,

Daylight and warmer days.

It’s the school kids getting tested now.

Though they carry the infection,

They don’t seem to suffer,

And we don’t know why,

Though we are so happy that our children don’t die.

One day our scientists will find out why.

It will go down in the history books,

Of what happened in 2020 and 2021.

Kids will be taught,

and hopefully lessons will have been learned,

and hopefully this awful tale will finish and never return.
