Oh my goodness, did you see that?
Next-door-but-one's big, gingery cat.
Ran across the lawn then vaulted up ma hedge.
Scurried to the top of a tiny, wee ledge.
What's that mound of mess l see!?
That feline's calling-card isn't a pee.
Oot wi the shovel.
Up comes the 'stuff'.
Oh yep, cats are cute, but enough is enough.
Speak to my neighbor.
Know what she'll say.
Her precious darling must toilet every day.
So next time you shoo your fluffy friend out,
Can you make sure they don't leave those 'presents' about!

I've got two Denni, and when
I've got two Denni, and when my neighbour (two doors away) complained about them chasing birds around her table I gave her a spray bottle full of water and told her that when they come in, to give them a good aggressive spray with the water while shouting at them to get out. It's humane, it doesn't hurt them and they soon get the message about where they aren't welcome. My neighbour is fully entitled to enjoy the birds in her garden, but I can't be expected to keep my cats in... this was the perfect solution. And recently, because she has a pond, I took my beloved common frog around to hers and asked her if he could live by her pond because my cats brought him in the house and mauled him about. I miss seeing him in the garden every morning but my cats were going to kill him.
To every problem there is a solution ... or you could just shoot the buggers.
