ME

I step outside my own self
to see what others see
and try to look,
with strangers eyes
at me.

But I am burdened with knowledge and feelings
that can see -
and yet blind
me from me

If I pass over my wisdom
and delve deeper than emotion
to see that what others see -
What then would be left
of me?
