Mid-life crisis?

The eluding distance between reality and dreams
The gap between what is real and what isn't,
The colour and sparkle of fantasy shadowed by the hardness of
living.

Is this all it is the debate between these forces?
One that beckons you like a scantly clad siren with unrivalled beauty,
and a stare, which penetrates ones depths, re-awakening the animal of
carnal desire.

The other calling you to remember your responsibilities your calling in
life. No wonder a dream can seem so desirable and just a soft whisper
away playing tantalisingly with your ear drum and working its way
through your body until it ensnares your heart like a cheese on the
spike of a mouse trap.

Which do you choose which route to take which siren do I answer. Is the
dream reality or the reality a dream they become intertwined seemingly
un separable. Does it come down to degrees at what degree will I lose
or win. By what why can I have it all the truth my son is you can't
.

So role that dice say your prayers even flip a coin but you must take
the step its you that must make the move like in a mortal game of
chess.
