The Black Eagle sat on his perch way up high in the krantzes overlooking the splendour of the African valley. He was a magnificent and noble creature, a hunter supreme, and lord of the sky. This was his world where he alone was king, and he would savour its very essence, and it’s every nuance. filled with life and the bounty of nature. His sharp lordly dark eyes pierced all his surroundings for any sign of prey. He stared into the distance with strict discipline and focus, his next meal would be soon at hand. The wind brushed silently through the thorn trees and long yellow grass of the wide mountain slopes. The crystal clear mountain stream wound its way through the landscape, and all the world was his, as far was the eye could see. He glanced about him one last time, then gave his distinct hunting call from way up above, before taking flight once more into the clear blue African skies on high, to rule forever as the master of flight and glory, over all creatures and the valley of plenty.
