There was once an old lady named Mary. When she was young, she was very pretty and all of the young men in town came over to court her. Eventually she married and had one daughter whom she called Marie-Lou. Marie-Lou also became wed with time, and she had several children of her own. Mary was now a grandmother and was slowly growing older. Her husband died one day, and she found that she had gone from a beautiful young woman to an ugly old lady. She became so old that her daughter then put her at an old age home all alone. Here it was extremely lonely, so she had one old friend, an old man named Fred, whose children had also had him put in a home. She and Fred lived next door to one another, so he came over every day at teatime, and they enjoyed a lovely cup of tea with biscuits together. Today was his birthday, so he came over for tea as he did each day. She gave him a small present, and although the old man looked a bit like an old frog in his old age, she decided to give him a kiss as well. Actually, he looked very much like an old toad at this advanced stage of life, but she gave him a small kiss on the lips, nonetheless. Then the greatest of miracles happened. They both changed instantly into a handsome and beautiful young couple. The shackles of old age had disappeared as if by some magic, and they were young and lovely once more. They lived out the remainder of their days in each other's blissful company, and they were never sad and lonely and old ever again. 'And they all lived happily ever after!'
