A Mother

A mother, is someone whose always there
She will show you patience, love, and care
She will be the one that loves you most
Even when far away she still holds you close

She will be there as your handprints grow
To teach you things you do not know
She gives you warm hugs when you’re scared
And with kisses her love’s declared

Her love can’t be explained in just a day
It would take a year at least to say
Bards could make of it, the greatest song
But I tell you it’s deep, true, and strong
