The Oak.

The six trees stood brotherly
Almost holding hands
Nearly as tight as the last eco warrior
Had clung to the branch
The Baliffs grinned
as the digger roared in
They were gone
Land was flattened and shrubs planted
And in 17 days
A new fun pub
With a car park full of red Fords
The bastards called it The Oak.
