My Love of Love

My love of love,
It feels and sees,
And moves about the autumn breeze,
Eclipsing, summer's lushly trees,
The love I love does see.
My love of love,
It lurks to find,
The beauty of the dreaming mind,
Such splendor in its roaming kind,
The love I love to find.
The love I love,
Shall only burn,
As ashes kept short of an urn,
For this its only true return,
The love I love to burn.
The love I love,
It fades to dim,
And strangely harks its hollow stim,
For light to see about the rim,
The love I love to dim.
The love I love,
It hopes and knows,
From its hair,
Down to its toes,
Though naked, longing to be clothed,
The love I love to know.
The love I love,
It stokes the fire,
Fulfills the souls darkened desire,
For this be done to which retire,
The love I love to fire.
The love I love,
Be false nor true,
Forgotten but still strangely new,
As Moonlight spreads the morning dew,
The love I love be true.
