Fantastic Fountains,
As high as mountains,
Made a landmark in the city.
And lights so bright
Formed colours at night
A sight of much delight.
As cascades played,
So people stayed,
And gathered in a circle.
Rainbow waters,
Like heraldic quarters,
Were emblazoned with orange and purple.
And as the crowd,
Admired the spectacle,
The water splashed
Into its receptacle.
The coloured display
Was so amazing,
Like curtains of crystal
Forever raising.
The waters changed,
From silver to gold,
The lights illuminating
Stones of old.
And in the night,
Quite panchromatic,
The fountain was constant
In a world erratic !.
