The Fence

Staring across the putrid earth,
A fence of swords crossing my path,
Sights of joy reach around my brain;
Pitted, twisted and wounded mind.
Thrusting myself on sharpened fence,
The blades cut deep into my chest,
Thoughts of pain tear around my mind;
Twisting, melting and hurting me.
Pushing backwards from strengthened blades,
Blood leaks from wounds crossing my wrists,
Sounds of hate slide into my head;
Ruin, hatred and utter woe.
Bleeding over the putrid earth,
A fence of swords barring my path,
Sights of joy reach around my brain;
Hatred, anguished and twisted sights.
Losing hope to cross that fence,
No will to die like others,
Wallow like this;
Utter hate.
