Nerves

Strange things nerves
They come out of the blue
Happen to all
But worse for a few
That panicky feeling
Whilst driving a car
Or doing your work
At home or afar
It,s hard to explain
Acute apprehension
The shortness of breath
That feeling of tension
You feel like a spring
That,s coiled up tight
A sudden noise, the wrong word
You,ll snap out of sight
You try to work hard
To forget this sensation
Relax says the doc
It,s my recommendation
What,s wrong with me?
Why can,t I just pop a pill?
That will cure me relax me
Feel better and still
You know that like drink
It could lead to addiction
But you take them alright
Without any restriction
So after a while
You learn to accept it
For you,re physically healthy
It,s your mind that,s unfit;
