Seascape

Rolling waters challenge in continous roar
White granite heads try to grasp
White horses dashing to the shore
Bright eyed seagulls wheel high above
Mournful voices in lament
Crying out across a rocky cove
Figures walk on the yellow sand
It touches the ebb of the tide
And wagtails peer and stride about
Amongst the drift of brown weed
Blue backcloth far distant stretched
With contrasting hues
Golden orb smiles down between
White flecked clouds
That cruise like majestic ships of sail
In grandeur slow across the azure sky
With the darkness curtains close
The passing of a summer,s day;
