Meanwhile in Eden....

Meanwhile in Eden, Adam and Eve began talking about things that were invisible. They talked about things like happiness, fear, pain and pleasure. The Neanderthals never went there. They talked or grunted about what they could see....river, tree, lion, club.
Adam and Eve, some say Eve, began talking about visible and invisible things about other sapes in Eden. This really caught on after and during the Cain/Abel affair. The word was spreading about jealousy, violence, savagery, power, weakness and other invisible matters. Somebody even mentioned God which led to imaginary delineations like right and wrong.
Thus they arrived at the beginnings of gossip, religion and culture.
Gossip contributed to the formation and maintenance of social bonds within a group. Sharing information about others helped individuals build relationships, establish trust, and navigate social dynamics. Knowing who can be relied upon and who may pose a threat enhanced group cohesion and cooperation. Gossip allowed individual sapes to learn from the experiences and actions of others without having to directly experience the consequences themselves. This can be beneficial for avoiding potential dangers and adapting to the environment. You didn't have to get eaten by a lion to know about the pain and humiliation endured by those who did. Gossip also contributed to social norms. Sapes who deviated from the norms became the primary subjects of gossip and their bad example served as regulators within the community.
The descendants of Adam and Eve were all about community.
Neanderthals didn't bother with all that jazz.
They were neither happy nor unhappy. They were hungry and they wanted to mate.
No self-respecting sape would get near any of that which is one of the reasons they split for Eden in the first place. The sapes weren't just pursuing food and each other; they were pursuing happiness.
Adam and Eve and their off spring stayed in Eden for 300,000 years before they returned to clean up the mess that was Neanderthal. They came back as a team and they were ready to rumble with purpose.
This was the end of the rule of biology and the beginning of history.
Yeah, the sapes were still subject to the laws of biology but now there was something else going on and more and more of it was invisible.

Makes me think of the movies
Makes me think of the movies "based on a true story". Sorry I'm not up to date with modern english vocabulary I don't own a television set.
Very original, must say! Tom
