Looking Forwards

I don't need to be told,
What I can or cannot do,
I certainly don't need your advice,
Or any other thing from you.
All I need right now, is the freedom you took from me,
To be able to be the person I've always wanted to be.

So I am leaving my past behind me,
I am locking it far away,
I am living for the moment,
And treasuring every day.
Life is meant for living
So that's what I am going to do,
So I am leaving my past behind me
And all bad memories of you.
