WHAT HOPE FOR HUMANITY?

The LIONS have a protocol                                                                                                                           they select a King.                                                                                                                                      Humans though have no design                                                                                                                 by and large they're sinking.

Europe is an expensive farce.                                                                                                                    They've tied themselves in knots                                                                                                                 They think that they are with the haves                                                                                                     Reality declares Have Nots.

Once great nations falling apart                                                                                                             Squabbling, moaning, we're doing fine!                                                                                                 Spending   , spending, lots of wine                                                                                                       Of serious thinking there's no sign!

Serious problems there are plenty,                                                                                                          look what's happened just this year!                                                                                                        Prime ministers, Presidents keep absenting                                                                                            Peoples opinions they don't want to hear!!

Great leaders of years gone by                                                                                                              had great problems of thier own.                                                                                                            They solved them quietly, not a word.                                                                                                    Today they use a mobile phone!

Twitter here and twitter there                                                                                                                   Is not a lot of use                                                                                                                                   Especially if the twit who's sending                                                                                                        is totally obtuse.!

So what do we the people think                                                                                                              Will we swim or will we sink?                                                                                                                  The way our leaders play about                                                                                                              The choice is a nod or a wink.
