Infinite Power

Ten-thousand miles away from the closes town, and I’m walking in the middle of nowhere in this, what feels like, 200 degree of hot sun above me sucks ass big time. Those bastards, this was not necessary, they could’ve just dropped me off on the outskirt of town.
I looked behind me and all there is are my own footprints miles behind me. The dry, mountainous sandy view in front of me made it impossible to see far ahead. A perfect place for desert pirates, they navigate the desert seas. They are very aggressive and they will not stop at no cause to get what they want and they are territorial, too. You see them, hide as quick as you can. I walked, walked and walked for what felt like eternity, and the worst thing of all this is, I have no water to drink. My mouth feels dry and dead. And I keep walking and walking until suddenly I spotted a blurred image far to my right. Was the intense heat of the sun making me hallucinate? Was it another guy tossed in the middle of nowhere just like me by the ruthless desert pirates? Right now I’m too freaking hot to try to deal with it, so I keep moving. I minded my own business. As I walked the image got closer and closer until it became visible from a far. I decided to get close to it. It was a man with old thorn cloths. His skin looked pale and dead. As soon as I touched him, he dissolved in to sand and flew off by the wind. In his disappear, the mysterious fellow left an interesting metal looking cube on the sand. It looked alien and with a very smooth surface. I pick it up, looked at it and studied it. I didn’t know what to make of it, so I put in my satchel bag and kept moving.
I’m sweaty, tire and hungry from walking under the sun and I need time away from the sun. I need shade to cool my skin off and refreshingly cold water to deep my burning body in and swim for eternity. Someone must’ve heard my thoughts because when I picked up my head, I couldn’t believe my eyes, I saw an amazingly beautiful green Oasis. The pond looked refreshingly good. I rub my eye to check if I was hallucinating, but I wasn’t and it was real. I ran to it and jump in with my cloths on. I swan in the cool water and ate from the fruits of the trees. While I was napping under the shades of the green leaves, I heard an explosion the makes the island disappear and I’m left sitting on the hot sand. A pirate ship spotted the island and is heading my way. I started to run but they were catching up. Their ship floated feet above the ground. I ran as fast as I could, but the pirates threw a net and I got caught. They had me hanging upside down. The captain came and ask me in a deep heavily tone voice, “ Where is the key ”? “I don’t know what you are talking about.” I responded. He raised his hand and touched me and asked me again to hand over the magical stone. I think I know what he wants but I am not going to hand it over to him, so I refused to give him an answer. He shocked the hell out of me. The scary looking thing asked me again, and I gave him the same answer. He shocked me again and again and again. My body felt charred and useless. Then, out of nowhere the cube felt from the bag and in to the floor. There on the floor, the cube had a bright yellow glow with electricity current flowing all over it. The creature pick it up and said, “ At last, infinite power is mine !” As soon as he said those words, the cube let off a huge explosion and it destroyed everything round it and it left a huge crater in its aftermath. I was blown miles away from the blast. The cube felt next to me, and it didn’t have that crazy glow anymore. I got up, pick up the cube and kept moving. As I walked, the pirate’s word of "infinite power" kept repeating over and over in my head. What did it all meant and why was it still in my possession? This must mean that more desert pirates will come and try to seize it and used it for evil. I must protec it.
