THE LITTLE BOY WATCHED

Acidic days made bitter years
Beside the sea that frothed with fears
Residues of regret would not fade
Adrift, as the planets went retrograde.
Collapse of the morals that made the whole,
Admit it, you're silent, you've lost control.
Over and over the dogs of truth bark and bite
Agile, the fragile, become vague shapes in the night.
But all those thing won't stop you now,
Right at this time with your marriage vow.
